Andaman

What is the best time to visit Andaman?

Andaman the optimal time to explore the Andaman & Nicobar Islands is from October to March, characterized by dry and pleasantly mild weather. During these months, the days are bright, making it an ideal period for engaging in water sports, diving, or simply unwinding on the stunning beaches.

Monsoons, spanning from July to September, are generally not recommended due to unpredictable waves and heavy downpours in certain regions. This season can disrupt ferry schedules, leading to significant delays and even cancellations. Additionally, water sports on the beaches may not be available, and underwater visibility for activities like diving or snorkeling diminishes during heavy rainfall.

While summer months (April to June) can be warm, with occasional rainfall, the tropical climate of the Andaman Islands ensures that temperatures rarely exceed 37 degrees Celsius. Despite some rain, these months are relatively comfortable for travel.
